Ingredients
- 200g sweet potato
- 150g ripe pear
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- Water for steaming

- Place the sweet potato cubes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for 10–12 minutes until tender when pierced with a fork.
- Add the pear cubes to the steamer basket with the sweet potato. Cover and steam for an additional 3–5 minutes until the pear is very soft.
- Transfer the steamed sweet potato and pear to a blender. Add the pinch of cinnamon.
- Blend until completely smooth. Add 1–2 tablespoons of the reserved steaming water, breast milk, or formula to reach the desired consistency.
- Let the purée cool to a safe temperature before serving. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze in single-portion ice cube trays.
